HALL OF FAME GUIDELINES
The World Police & Fire Games (WPFG)
The WPFG Board of Directors has initiated this award, which will be given biennially, to acknowledge the most outstanding participant(s) in our Games. To be awarded this prestigious award presented by the WPFGF, the nominee must meet the following criteria in part or whole:
Athletic Accomplishments:
- Championships and Records: Winning championships, setting records, or achieving other significant milestones in the sport. These are only WPFG sporting events ONLY. Outside sporting accomplishments will not be recognized for this honor.
- Long-Term Success: Demonstrating sustained excellence throughout a career at the WPFG.
- Significant Contributions to the Sport: Innovating techniques, promoting the sport, or making other impactful contributions.
Character and Conduct:
- Good Character and Sportsmanship: Exhibiting strong moral character, sportsmanship, and positive behavior both on and off the field of play.
- Positive Community Impact: Demonstrating a commitment to their community and using their platform for good.
- Good Conduct: Being a positive role model to the sport and have no serious misconduct issues.
Other Considerations:
- Eligibility Period: Have participated in at least six (6) WPFGs, does not have to be consecutive games.
- Coaches and Contributors: Including coaches and other individuals who have made significant contributions to the sport.
- Longevity and Impact: Considering the length and impact of their contributions to the sport.
- Significant Contributions to the WPFG: Acting as an Ambassador for the WPFG by promoting the Games within an agency, city/state, and or country, with an impactful contribution of time and talent.
- Self-Nominations will not be considered for the award
